Pledge Weak Failure
For part one, please check this out.
Let us try this again. For some reason, I thought that if I put pen to paper, I could follow through on some very easily attainable goals that I set for myself. The nagging thought of these goals out there in the ether would be, should be, enough to keep me going straight and on the right path. Well, let's just say that if my commitment goals was my batting average, I would have been sent to triple A faster than a Tim Wakefield fastball. Or knuckleball. Or whatever. Well, let us quickly review...
Beard – no go, I just spent $900 dollars on new blades for my shaving handle!
Blog – this is the first one since October.
Working Out – no black belt, but, a nice grain belt.
Reading – movies based on books count, right?
Needless to say, making resolutions, whether on January 1st or August 22nd, are one in the same. They are difficult to keep. I, now, have to go back to the woodshed and revisit and revise these resolutions. I don't think that I will change any of them. I think that I will just keep hammering away on them until I turn these resolutions into habits. Once they become habits, then, they will be harder to break. I look to my desire to quit smoking. With that, I just need to make not smoking a habit and then I will be done. Well, we'll see.
Progress update, done.
